I've teamed up with the Reggie Harris Foundation in a fundraising effort to send young journalists to next year's National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) convention in Philadelphia.

Reggie Harris was a television reporter and anchor in New York City. He died tragically while working out in his home in Teaneck, N.J, just hours before he was to start work. His award-winning career included stints at WWOR-TV and WCBS-TV. Harris was a native of St. Petersburg, Fla., and a graduate of Florida State University. He was the winner of six Emmy awards.
