Saturday Night Live apparently likes Bruno Mars just the way he is.
The singer-songwriter was arrested after he was found with a bag of cocaine in a Las Vegas casino on Sunday. But he wasn't sweating it. He just fixed up his hair, and flashed a big happy smile for his mug shot (see below).
The singer took to Twitter tonight, but not to address his "nose candy" or run-in with the cops.
Instead, he announced his good news:
"Today one of my life long dreams came true.. got the word I will be Performing on Saturday Night Live!! #YESSS," he tweeted.
Mars' debut single, "Just the Way You Are," is currently No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He made a name for himself singing the hooks on B.o.B.'s "Nothing on You," and Travie McCoy's "Billionaire."
The date of his SNL performance was not announced.
